Dispatcher
Status: Full time employment
Close Date: Open until filled
Duties: Duties include but are not limited to the following: dispatch for Alvarado Police and Fire Department; answer all incoming emergency and non-emergency phone calls; data entry; and extensive filing. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High school diploma or GED
Requirements: Applicants must be able to multi-task, possess basic computer skills, and type 20 wpm.
Pay and Benefits:
Salary: $11.00-$11.50/hour

POLICE OFFICER

Education: High School Diploma or GED. Must be a graduate of an approved Police Academy or Criminal Justice Associates Program.
Requirements: Must be licensed by TCLEOSE.
Pay and Benefits: Starting salary $33,500.00 annually.
