Accounting collects, records, summarizes and reports the results of all financial transactions that occur within City operations, and prepares the City financial statements (General Purpose Financial Statements).

Major responsibilities include:

  • Accounts receivable
  • Grant reporting
  • Cash and debt service administration
  • Project and cost accounting
  • Fixed asset maintenance
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Other general accounting functions
