NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
City of Alvarado
The City of Alvarado, Texas is accepting bids for the possible sale or exchange of real property located at 135 County Road 404, Alvarado, Texas, 76009, and being 1.545 acres of land, and being a portion of Lot 2, ALVARADO WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT ADDITION, to the City of Alvarado, Johnson County, Texas, according to the plat recorded in Volume 9, Page 650, of the Plat Records of Johnson County, Texas
Sealed bids should be submitted and received by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in the Office of the Economic Development Director, 104 W. College, Alvarado, Texas, 76009. The City may award the bid that is determined to be the best value to the City. All bids must comply with bid specifications, which can be obtained at City Hall at the above address, the City’s website at www.cityofalvarado.org

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT:
The City of Alvarado, Texas proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of the City of Alvarado to include the following described territory, to-wit:
An approximately 76.93 acre tract of land situated in the JAMES B. CONGER SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 150, GEORGE S. McINTOSH SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 625, JAMES NICHOLSON SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 1079, in the City of Alvarado, Johnson County, Texas, being a part of that certain tract of land described in a deed to Dale Harvey Robinson, et al, recorded in Document Number 2019-09415, Deed Records, Johnson County, Texas. A complete metes and bounds description of the property is available for public inspection at the City of Alvarado City Hall.
A public hearing will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Alvarado, Texas, on the 18th day of April 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at 104 West College Street, Alvarado, Texas 76009, for all persons interested in the above-proposed annexation. At said time and place, all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned, will take notice.
